Easter Recap (aka Chewy Photoshoot #1000)

Hope everyone had a great Easter! Last week was tough, so I thoroughly enjoyed Easter Sunday spent with my family. The day started with lunch at one of my favorite restaurants with my mom and sister.

I then somehow convinced Andy that it was a perfect time to go to the park so we headed out to Piedmont Park which is one of my absolute favorite places in Atlanta, even as cliche as it is. It was such a gorgeous day, there were tons of people there and it was packed, but I didn’t even care because the sun was shining and all of the colors were so pretty!

Chewy needed sunglasses.

I love that Atlanta is a big city with all of the tall buildings, but we are so obsessed with trees that it almost feels like you’re in a small town. That’s one of the things I always tell people when they ask me why I like Atlanta so much – we have trees everywhere! That’s probably why Piedmont Park is so magical to me – I love the contrast of the trees against the southern “skyscrapers”.

We’re still working on Chewy’s ability to take photos on cue/look at the camera… hence why we have soo many pictures of the back of his head. But he’s getting there! I can even get him to sit on the steps…

That face though… Is anyone in Atlanta familiar with a dog trainer? Chewy was attacked by two large dogs when he was only 12 weeks old and has since been nervous around and scared of other dogs when we go out in public. I would love to be able to take him to the dog park and let him loose but I am so scared he’s going to react poorly. I would love suggestions if anyone knows of a great trainer to work with!

What did you do for Easter?
