August Favorites

It must be said, my numero uno favorite of the month of August was most definitely HomeGoods. HomeGoods is basically my home away from home, the reason my home looks amazing (if I do say so myself), and my favorite place to go on my lunch break. But because I can’t put the amazingness of HomeGoods into one image for a collage… these other awesome items will have to do.

Neuro Bliss Stress Relief: Maybe I’m easy to persuade but I really think this stuff works. I buy it when it’s on sale at Target and it really calms my mind. I sometimes have anxiety when I get overwhelmed so for busy days at work this stuff is the greatest. Try it out for yourself and tell me if you think it works!

Kendra Scott Elle Earrings: Just bought these neon pink Elle earrings last week on sale! and I still don’t feel like I have enough Kendra Scott… this is my 6th purchase and 4th pair of KS earrings. I’m addicted, but what color do I need next?

Saddleback Leather Moleskin Cover: I use this Moleskin cover for my iPad mini and I love it. It smells good (is that weird?) and it’s the perfect color. I just throw it in my purse and it has been scratched and scuffed up but that makes it look even better! I highly suggest Saddleback products especially for the guys in your life. Their products have a 100 year warranty…

Laredo Cedar Street Cowboy Boots: I’m not lying when I say if you need one pair of cowboy boots, these are the ones. I’m so glad I chose these over the Frye’s and I never thought I would say that! Hello fall and football season.

BareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara: I tried this in the Sephora mini mascara box and I had low expectations. It turns out this is the best mascara I’ve tried lately! It applies very wet and dark which is what I like and it holds a curl well without causing crunchy lashes. Plus, I’m pretty sure it’s healthy for those lashes since it’s BareMinerals brand.

Chi Straightener: Since cutting my hair into a lob, I’ve been using my straightener as a curling iron. It gives my hair a great beachy, messy wave but still looks put together for work. I was never able to curl my hair using a straightener before, but it takes trial and error and a few hours in front of the mirror to get the hang of it!

KitchenAid Stand Mixer: If you bake, this is a must in your kitchen. You might think the price tag isn’t worth it, but it makes baking so much easier, quicker, and fun! I just made banana muffins and they turned out better than I’ve ever made. Don’t like pink? Go with the mint green. Trying to convince myself I don’t need 2…

What have you been loving this month?
