Tuesday Inspiration
Work hard and hustle. This has been my mantra the past few months. After reading #GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso, I’ve been up and down inspired to focus on my hobbies and what truly makes me happy. I’ve been working so hard on this little blog, decorating my apartment, work and life in general. I’ve been so inspired and motivated and I’m now starting to see how it’s paying off. One of the best feelings is accomplishment. When you start out with a goal and devote endless hours of thought, work, sometimes tears, lots of laughs and countless headaches from staring at the computer screen too long (the lenses are scratched in my glasses! wah, wah) it’s great to see how it all comes together.
If you’re reading this and you have a dream (or many, many dreams if you’re like me), this is the universe telling you to go out and do it! I love reading inspirational quotes and stories of entrepreneurs and those who have overcome every challenge to achieve their goals. Although I’ve yet to “make it”, I can feel the wheels turning and I’m confident I’m headed in that direction. I’m also very optimistic. 😉 So whether you’ve been considering starting a blog, or you want to start your own company, or you want to go back to school for a career change – go do it! Work hard and you will get what you deserve in return. Then come back and share your success story with me. 🙂
All this being said, I have some very exciting things coming along in the next few months – for both Just Peachy Blog and myself personally. I can’t wait to share them with you, but I also have a superstitious, OCD fear of sharing things before they’re 100% complete. Here’s to success, working hard for the hustle, and inspiration.
p.s. this graphic is just the first symbol of my hard work lately. I had the idea for the design and couldn’t find it elsewhere so I sat down and made it happen on my own. Feel free to share. If you’re interested in the full-size print version, please let me know!
