Emory Point Shop & Stroll Recap

Last Tuesday I was invited to attend a blogger Shop & Stroll event at Emory Point – my old stomping grounds! Yup, my very first apartment was right around the corner when I was the Marketing Manager for American Threads (also at Emory Point). The night was super fun getting to meet other local bloggers and catch up with some of my other blog friends. Not to mention the awesome deals and gift bags we got. And yes, I purchased something (or a few things) at each store I went to – whoops.

Emory Point is located right next to Emory’s campus across from the CDC on Clifton Road and is filled with yummy restaurants, cute shops and you can even rent an apartment above all of this! I can speak for every restaurant there as I ate there every single night after work… Tin Lizzy’s, yes. Marlow’s Tavern, oh yum. General Muir, double tripe yum. Emory Point also has amazing shops for women with local boutiques (Lizard Thicket, American Threads Fab’rik) and chains too (Francesca’s, Loft) in addition to Orange Theory and PinkBarre. Phase 2 is opening next year and will be a great addition to the current shops.

Our tour included Lizard Thicket, American Threads, Francesca’s and Fab’rik (in that order) and it went by too quickly. I had such a fun shopping with fellow bloggers and chatting about the awesome selections at each store. At Lizard Thicket I got a long sleeve romper that I can’t wait to share in a holiday OOTD coming soon! At American Threads I found an amazing gift (for myself of course) which I need to write a blog post on – so keeping it under wraps for now and an adorable gift bag! At Francesca’s I had to partake in the BOGO jewelry sale. Fab’rik shut it down and gave us an awesome swag bag and I finally purchased a fall hat – just in time for winter/spring?

Emory Point is hosting its final weekend Shop & Stroll event this Saturday from noon to 4pm and will offer complimentary gift wrapping, carolers, treats and a free $20 gift card with every $100 purchase! Make sure you stop by these shops for all of your last minute holiday needs and don’t forget that The General Muir is a nationally acclaimed restaurant with amazing Chai Lattes, Black and White Cookies, iced coffees, bagels and turkey sandwiches. But those are just my favorites. They were in Atlanta magazine for best burger this month too!
