What’s In My Shower?

I don’t know about you, but I love seeing what beauty products people use! You can only trust online reviews, blogs and product packaging so much but when you look at someone’s products at home you really see what people like using. I used to be obsessed with buying shampoo and conditioner – not I only regularly use 3 sets. Call me crazy if you want, but 3 sets is not too many!

Bumble & Bumble Gentle Shampoo and Super Rich Conditioner: I will randomly use this shampoo/conditioner at night when I just want a little variety in my hair. This is my least frequently used set, but I love how soft, clean, and natural it makes my hair feel.

Tresemme Platinum Strength Shampoo and L’oreal Total Repair Leave-In Conditioner: This is go-to set that I’ll use each time I wash my hair for normal day-to-day activities (note: I wash my hair every other or every 3rd day, so no I don’t use leave-in conditioner daily). At first, I hated this combo, but as I kept using it I know love it. My hair gets very greasy with smoothing shampoos, but when I use this I can definitely go 3 days between washing. Plus, it makes my hair super soft and shiny and it’s inexpensive and easy to purchase from Target or the drugstore.

Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner: This is my favorite. It smooths my hair and makes it so, so soft! I’ll use this set the night before or the day of an event. Plus, it smells so good! You can find this as a set at Ulta for pretty good prices normally (something like $19 for both).

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant: This stuff is great for exfoliating and making your skin soft! I use it once a week when I don’t use the MB Glycolic Cleanser and I really do think it makes my skin brighter. Plus, it’s lasted me forever!

Mario Badescu Orange Cleansing Soap, Seaweed Cleansing Soap, and Glycolic Foaming Cleanser: So now I’m completely 100% obsessed with Mario Badescu products – reviews coming soon. I use the Orange Cleansing Soap 4 days a week, the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser 2 days a week and the Seaweed Cleaning 1 day a week. I highly recommend the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser and Orange Cleansing Soap if you have moderately dry skin with minor acne marks. This is what I’m struggling with now and my latest regimen is working!

Clarisonic Mia 2: Love this thing. I never really washed my face consistently until I purchased this little pink beauty. I don’t know if it necessarily makes my face cleaner or scrubs away imperfections, but it makes it easy and fun to wash my face with the preset timer telling me which section of my face to wash next.

St. Ives Purifying Sea Salt Body Wash: This is a recent buy after always using a moisturizing body wash. It exfoliates enough to make your skin feel incredibly soft right out of the shower and smells so fresh and clean.

Venus Razor: I mean, you don’t have many options in the razor department these days.

What are your favorite products? Always looking for new beauty stuff!
