Root City Market
Some people aren’t convinced, but yes Atlanta is a very cool city! This weekend was Root City Market, a quarterly artist’s market with local designers and crafters. Really, really my style guys. It was held at Stove Works right across from Krog Street Market, which I had been dying to go to so it worked out perfectly. The event is free to attend, but make sure you bring lots of moolah to buy the amazing items being sold. I walked away with a few awesome decor pieces from The Artwork of Kevin Stinehart.
You can also find brewed coffee, handmade cards, super cool prints, handwoven rugs and purse, leather goods, jewelry, chocolate and soaps among other things. I definitely felt inferior to all of these creative individuals selling their goods. They were all amazing! The prices were fair and I could have taken home something from each booth if not for my lack of numbers in the bank.
In the Atlanta area? Make sure you come out to the next event! Keep watching the website for updates. They also have a Winter gift market so it’s perfect for finding unique presents for loved ones!
I NEED to check this out next time! Looks like they have some great finds and gifts!
