Welcome to Part One (of only two, a bit anticlimactic, sorry) of my fall transition series! I’ll show you how to style this summer dress two different ways while we start to lose the heat and feel a breeze in the air – finally.

The easiest way to make the transition from dreadfully hot to calmly cool is to carry a handy flannel. During the day, it’s best tied around the waist, but when the sound goes down you can wear it as it was intended – as a shirt. Pair it with some black leather booties and this outfit screams fresh piles of leaves and football in full swing.
