My College Essentials for Confidence

My College Essentials | Just Peachy Blog My College Essentials | Just Peachy Blog My College Essentials | Just Peachy BlogI’m not going to lie, college can be a hard time. But at the same time, the best. As in, I’d go back right this second if I could. But struggling with self-confidence in college is kind of inevitable. When you’re thrown into a huge school with people from all over the world, in 300-person classes with little to no one you know, it can get kind of scary! But these few items I have in my essentials kit will make sure you’re confident and successful.

Schick Disposable Razors: Since trying out men’s razors (review in this post!), I may never go back. These inexpensive disposable Schick razors not only save your college funds for more fun activities, but you’ll never have to worry about stubble with this close shave. (Enter the #SchickSummerSelfie contest to win $10,000 in scholarship money!)

Boom Chicka Pop: I’ve become obsessed with these popcorn bags. The kettle corn is so good, but the sea salt is too! I love snacking on them while I’m working (real world version of studying) and I always have a bag in my purse in case I’m hungry without a meal – like during a test or between classes!

Lokai Bracelet: This bracelet is amazing (check out this post) and symbolizes the highs and lows of life. Which is a lot like college – or at least in my experience. This reminds you to keep pushing through the good and the bad.

Tarte – Lights, Camera, Lashes: Can’t live without this mascara. I’ve been using it religiously for at least 4 years. I layer it, I wear it alone, and I swear by it. Some say you look your best in college, so make sure your eyelashes are lookin’ fine too.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: Let’s face it, I rarely washed my hair in college. Sorry, but it’s true. Dry shampoo is legitimately the reason why I survived those four years (and now into the real world). Don’t feel bad for being lazy. Sometimes when you’re out all night and you have to wake up early for a test… it’s just a must.

Rifle Paper Company To-Do List (and Target Pencils): I always had to write down my to do list or else I would forget what I had to do. It’s so much easier to be productive with cute supplies!

The Every Girl ‘Success is Not Easy’ Print: Ya gotta keep your spirits up. Working hard in college, while not 100% necessary, truly makes or breaks you when you get into the real world. If you learn to work hard in college, the real world will be a breeze. Plus, you’ll probably get a banging job right out of school. And this mantra equals success.
