To be honest, I don’t wear a lot of makeup. I only just this last year started wearing foundation daily. And I still wear one of the lightest possible types. However, over the years, and especially last year, I’ve come to discover some of the most reliable and easy products. I have a hard time leaving the house without these few products on my face.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer: I never even knew how much I needed these product until the first time I used it. Sometimes, I’ll only throw this on with mascara and I still feel like I look okay to leave the house! Not only does it conceal any darker under eye circles (which I don’t have a huge problem with), but it brightens them up perfectly. It’s a great consistency that’s thick, yet smooth.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder: This powder is amazing over my the Bye Bye Under Eye concealer. Since the concealer is thick, it can be a bit greasy, and my mascara sometimes smudges. Not when I put this powder on though! I lightly dust my face to keep all my makeup secure and it does the job well.
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara: Holy grail. I’ve recently been trying to avoid curling my eyelashes to keep them healthier. This is one of the mascaras I’ve used that doesn’t make them stick straight out. Plus it’s super thickening without being clumpy and very, very dark. It makes my lashes look thick and wispy while holding the curl and making them stand out. By far my favorite mascara! (Also pairs well with my previous favorite – Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes.)
BareMinerals Complexion Rescue: I hate foundation. So I have to wear a tinted moisturizer instead to balance out my face and conceal minor discoloration/acne scarring. I have purchased 3 different tubes of this stuff – all different colors for different tan levels – and I will buy this until they discontinue it (but please don’t, BM, if you’re listening!). It has a lot more coverage than your average BB cream/tinted moisturizer so it’s perfect for daily wear.
Ulta Color Coat Cream Eyeshadow: I’ve worn this as an eye shadow base for years and years. I’m pretty sure it’s showed up on my blog at least 2x yearly for the past few years. Confession time: I have 3 unopened containers in my makeup drawer right now just in case they happen to discontinue it or my local Ulta is sold out (which it usually is). When I’m in a hurry, I’ll swipe this on without any shadow over it and I still look put together.
