Is anyone else really obsessed with buying red clothes right now? Maybe it’s because of the 4th of July, or maybe I’m getting pretty excited for football season (a little too early), but almost everything I’ve purchased lately has been in the red and coral family. Anyways, it’s never bad to celebrate your love of the American flag’s colors. Which is why I’m still wearing this kimono post-4th of July.

My 4th of July tradition (that started last year) is running the Peachtree Road Race. It’s a 10k race down Peachtree Road from Lenox Mall to Piedmont Park. It’s exhausting, I never train for it and this year was exceptionally hot and humid. Despite the high temperatures and the fact that I almost gave up at the 4th mile, I had a great time as usual and beat my goal time by 5 seconds! I even took off 5 minutes from last year’s time, so I’m pretty pumped for next year already.
