Happy November friends! Can you believe we’re so much closer to the best holidays of the year? I didn’t have a special fashion trick or tip to help you live better today. Just wanted to chat about somethings that will be happening over the next couple exciting months and get some feedback from you guys!
No Spend November
I just got hit with a big time ER bill from my visit in April (delayed, much?) which was very surprising and unexpected. I’m still paying off wedding bills, homeownership bills and getting used to paying for insurance and the like, so I’ve declared this month “No Spend November”. I will (fingers crossed) not be spending any money on things only I can enjoy: clothing, beauty products, etc. I’ve also put a $100 cash limit on food/drinks I eat by myself. Since I started working from home, sometimes I leave the house to get lunch or coffee just because I can’t sit inside any longer. I’ll start out the month with $100 in cash (or a $20 bill each week, yes I know that’s technically 5 weeks) and try to hold on to as much as I can. Who’s with me??
My CrossFit Journey
Last week I started my CrossFit training program. I know no one comes to my Instagram or blog for fitness tips so I’ve decided to start a video series about it on my YouTube channel! (My YouTube channel has literally 1 video… and it’s OLD.) So far I’ve taken 3 “on ramp” classes, which are basically one-on-one training sessions to learn the different moves and motions. Next week should be my last week in On Ramp and I’ll be able to join the big kid classes after that!
Boho Bus Pop-up Events
Since Alive in Roswell is finished for the year, we’re looking for more pop-up events (either private or festivals) for Boho Bus! So far, we’re planning one very fun one mid-November at a winery (!!) and we’re having a very special annual sale this December. Black Friday Shopping Guides + Holiday Gift Guides
Yep, it’s that time of year again! Black Friday will be here before we know it, which means the holiday shopping season is pretty much in full swing. My mom has already been asking for my Christmas list… but at 27 I feel like I don’t need one. Because we want things like money for bills and a fence… boring. I will be putting together actual good ideas for gifts starting next week. Who do you need help shopping for? Do you need ideas for your own lists?
