I can't WAIT to share the nursery. We're so close to being finished with all the little details, and it might be just beating out my office and the living room for favorite room in the house.

I'm a big fan of vintage art, so I scooped up some prints when I was in Italy and recently found some gorgeous pieces on @etsy to complete the collection. I wanted some personal touches, so I had to find a black dog that resembles Rooney, of course! Still on the hunt for a fluffy short dog to replicate Chewy...

Baby Melvin is a… girl! 💕 We both thought it was a girl up until my second ultrasound when the little bean seemed like a boy to me. 🫣 I thought for sure when we were read the gender results, that it was going to say boy. But I was wrong!

Mommy has already bought lots of clothes 😍 and all of my saved up vintage nursery finds over the last 5 years have now been deemed useful. 🙌

Daddy is excited to teach her how to golf, play tennis, and build things 🔨 and has been excitedly teaching her the tunes of her future favorite artists @harrystyles and @vampireweekend. 😆

Swipe to see all the things we’ve been hiding over the last 21 weeks 🤰🏻

1. Lots of naps and cuddling with the dogs - I was soo tired for the first 18 weeks (still am but napping less!) and very nauseous!

2. Teaching myself to embroider for the announcement sweater

3. Re-painted the nursery closet, added a new light, re-did the closet rods

4. Totally cleaned out what was my “studio” for videos to start planning the nursery. And it’s already come so far since this pic 3 weeks ago!!!

5. Forced myself to be active as many times per week as possible. I didn’t workout for the full first trimester because 🤢 and 😴 but have been loving jumping back on my @onepeloton bike and tread walking while working.

Well I THOUGHT this was going to be my golf era. 🏌🏻But as it turns out, this first day I ever went golfing was also the day I found out I was pregnant. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So is it even possible to swing a club with a pregnant belly?
